A catheterization laboratory or cath lab is an examination room in a hospital with diagnostic imaging equipment used to visualize the arteries of the heart and the chambers of the heart and treat any stenosis or abnormality found. The Faith hospital’s Heart Revive Centre has a digital Cath Lab with the innovative OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) guidance systems, which are superior to the conventional angiogram. These advanced systems aid both diagnostic and interventional procedures on patients in all age groups.
